Doctor of Audiology

Jennifer Baumann, AuD graduated from the University at Buffalo in 2017 and has been a practicing Audiologist for four years, working in Syracuse, NY and Buffalo, NY. She received her undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders from the University at Buffalo as well and earned her phi beta kappa for her academic achievements.

Dr. Baumann chose a career in audiology to make sure everyone feels like they can hear and be heard. She says every patient is on their own journey and they deserve to communicate that story with those around them. Our ability to communicate and be communicated with is an essential be part of what makes us human. Dr. Baumann’s goal is to help patients find the avenues are which allow them to achieve that. Every patient should feel like they are listened to, respected, and provided with the highest quality of care.

Dr. Baumann is a member of ASHA (American Speech, Language and Hearing Association).

Outside of work, she is an avid rock climber and hiker.  She has climbed all over the country with her husband.  She is also an identical twin, whose sister is an Optometrist in the Buffalo area!
