Patient Care Coordinator
Hearing Evaluation Services of Buffalo, Inc. is seeking a confident, self motivated, reliable candidate with excellent customer service skills to join our growing team as a Patient Care Coordinator (PCC). This individual is responsible for maintaining appropriate call coverage, patient communication both in person and by phone, appointment scheduling, invoicing, various administrative duties, and active participation in practice development.
This person must display exemplary customer service and communication skills, teamwork, problem solving skills, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment. They must also communicate and collaborate with members of the Hearing Evaluation Services of Buffalo, Inc. team.
Requirements:
- Minimally High School Diploma or GED equivalent; higher education a plus.
- Experience with escalated customer service issue resolution.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking and communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently, and is self-motivated.
- Administrative/clerical experience, preferable in a medical office environment.
- Strong Computer Skills, knowledge of MS Office products.
- Insurance experience and EMR preferred.
- Maintains accurate and complete patient records.
- Tracks and provides required insurance information.
- Maintains HIPAA privacy, security and confidentiality standards.
- Performs a variety of other duties as assigned by a Manager.
- Respects patients’ privacy and rights; display of genuine concern and empathy.
- Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness and kindness.
